My Approach

Asking for help is hard, but we can find relief through sharing our thoughts and experiences with someone. Therapy can be a place where you can safely share, process, and make meaningful changes. I am committed to meeting you where you are, learning about your life, and exploring how you would like to see it improve.

Are you struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, life changes, or maintaining meaningful relationships? If you’re seeking individual therapy to reduce undesired symptoms, navigate dating, improve relationships, or just focus on your personal growth, you’re in the right place. You deserve to prioritize your own needs and goals in the presence of a compassionate listener.

As a wife and mother to three children, I am right there with you, juggling the ups and downs of a busy life. No one prepares us for the rollercoaster of emotions that come with these roles. If you’ve ever found yourself feeling disconnected or struggling to communicate with your partner, or if small disagreements seem to snowball into bigger conflicts, you are not alone. Together, we can work to build healthy communication, manage conflict, and create relationships that feel like the refuge you deserve.

I integrate various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for Couples. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, and I aim to make therapy relatable and effective. If you’re ready to embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery, I would love to support you along the way.

A Little About Me

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007, with a Master of Science in Social Work. For more than a decade, I worked at Dell Children’s Hospital, supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families through the challenges of childhood cancer. This experience taught me the power of empathy, connection, and resilience in the face of life’s toughest obstacles.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, cheering on my kids in sports, playing with our family dog, and watching Longhorn football!
