Meet our founder, Robyn

Robyn founded Westlake Psychotherapy of Austin with a focus on creating lasting positive change and achieving true healing.

Westlake Psychotherapy is a dedicated group of professionals committed to helping clients process the pain of their past and untangle the issues that are keeping them stuck.

Using a neuroscience-informed framework, our therapists examine deeply entrenched patterns of harmful behavior and work to develop new, healthier habits in their place.

Our goal is to make our valued clients feel refreshed, confident, and hopeful again – book a consultation today.

Couples

Within and outside of relationships, it takes practice and experience to change thoughts and communication patterns. Therapy can help achieve a deeper connection and intimacy while improving communication patterns.

Individual

Individual therapy is a completely customized, completely confidential treatment that helps clients manage anxiety, negative thoughts, stressors, and many other aspects of day to day life as an individual. We work with clients of various ages, including teens.

EMDR

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This type of therapy helps clients process old traumatic memories and release stress from their nervous systems.

Family Counseling

The goal of family counseling is to improve relationships between family members, work through hardships, and create functioning family units or home environments.

Group therapy

Westlake Psychotherapy of Austin offers several types of group therapy, including family therapy, Grief groups, Men’s groups, and more.

What are our specialties?

In addition to individual, group, family, and couples’ counseling, Westlake Psychotherapy of Austin specializes in working with clients struggling with self-worth, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and PTSD and trauma.
