My Approach
I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental approach for both individuals and couples, aiming to enhance communication, rebuild trust, and develop deeper emotional connections. Utilizing evidence-based methods such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, Mindfulness, and Coherence Therapy, I customize our sessions to meet your specific needs.
Whether you’re an individual or part of a couple, you might be dealing with communication breakdowns, trust issues, challenging in-laws, or a sense of disconnection. You may feel destined to separate or stay single, but remember, there is hope for repair and connection! Working with a therapist can reveal blind spots, enhance communication skills, and foster emotional experiences, allowing for a deeper connection with yourself and your partner.
If you’re seeking help with improving your relationship or just looking for guidance on your own relationship journey, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to create the strong, connected relationship you deserve.
A Little About Me
I recently made an exciting shift from a rewarding 23-year tech career, during which I led multinational teams developing test and measurement software. Now, I’m on the journey to earn my Master’s in Counseling from Adams State University, and I can’t wait to graduate this May!
When I’m not focused on supporting my clients or honing my skills as a counselor, you can find me at my kids’ sporting events, going on hikes with my wife, whipping up a delicious pot of chili, and cheering on the Longhorns! My happiest places are Big Bend, any body of water, and being around my wife and kids. To make sure I stay on top of my workout routine, I’ve signed up for a sprint triathlon next May!
