My Approach
Whether you’re facing a major life transition, struggling with negative self-talk, or feeling overwhelmed, I work collaboratively to help you build insight, resilience, and practical tools for lasting change. I believe that healing happens through connection, compassion, and a commitment to personal growth. I am passionate about supporting individuals in discovering their inner strengths and aligning more fully with their values. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and am committed to providing inclusive, affirming care.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, body image concerns, and patterns like people-pleasing, perfectionism, and self-criticism. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). At the same time, I believe therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and that your story, your values, and your goals will shape our work together.
I aim to create a space where you feel empowered to explore challenges, reconnect with your inner strengths, and build a life that feels meaningful to you. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to putting others first or questioning whether your needs matter. My goal is to offer a calm, supportive environment where you feel safe to slow down, reflect, and be honest about what you’re going through. My hope is that when you step into this space, you feel safe to exhale, to be fully yourself, and to know that all parts of you are welcome here.
A Little About Me
I earned my M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. My path into the counseling field has been shaped by a deep passion for both the healing process and holistic wellness. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various levels of care, including residential and intensive outpatient settings, where I gained invaluable clinical experience and a deeper appreciation for mental health care..
Outside of the therapy room, I’m passionate about personal growth and wellness through my own self-discovery and reflection. I also love connecting with others, playing tennis, reading a good thriller, and exploring new restaurants around the Austin area.
